I apologize that this site has been dead for many weeks now. I left it alone during finals and the co-occuring stress of hearing back from graduate schools. Though finals didn’t go as well as I’d hoped, (I thought I learned lots about the geology of western Canada’s national parks – my professor disagreed), I ultimately received offers of admission to two of the four schools I applied to and was waitlisted for a third. So late this August, my girlfriend and I will be driving from Edmonton all the way to Halifax where I’ll begin Dalhousie University’s three year Master’s in Human Communication Disorders program for Audiology. (Though if I get that waitlist phone call from UBC while I’m still west of Montreal it might be tempting to turn around.) I’ve heard nothing but great things about Dal’s program, and am so excited to begin this next leg of my academic career.
In other news, I’m hoping to keep this site more active and keep blasting you with ideas, information, and opinions.
Thanks for reading, and thanks for the support!
